Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock annoyed with League Two manager

Published

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has revealed that he is “very, very annoyed” with Newport County boss Graham Westley about the Rhys Healey situation, according to BBC Sport.

Newport County currently have Rhys Healey on loan from Cardiff City until January.

Rhys Healey recently revealed that Plymouth Argyle had contacted him over a possible switch to Home Park when his loan deal with Newport County expires in January.

The approach came before Plymouth met Newport County in the FA Cup and the two sides will meet again in a replay to decide who plays against Liverpool in the Third Round.

Wales Online then broke the news that Graham Westley was going to drop Rhys Healey amid the speculation surrounding his future, which would jeopardise the chances of Warnock sanctioning a loan extension.

Warnock is now reconsidering the future of Healey after January and has confirmed that a number of League One clubs as well as Carlisle and Plymouth are interested in the 22-year-old, who has netted six times for the Exiles.

Cardiff fans – where would you send Healey after his loan expires?

Newport fans – is this the end of Healey’s time at Newport?
