Kenneth Zohore has taken to his personal Twitter account to deliver a message ahead of Cardiff City’s trip to Elland Road this weekend.

The Cardiff striker has moved to share a series of images from the last time the Bluebirds faced Leeds United, when Zohore helped Neil Warnock’s side breeze to three points, scoring twice in a 3-1 victory.

Alongside those images, Zohore wrote a message looking ahead to the trip to Leeds, before moving to thanks supporters for their birthday wishes.

The striker turned 24 yesterday, and will be looking to end his birthday week by adding to his four Championship goals at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

Warnock returns to Elland Road one again, with his Cardiff side sat fourth in the Championship table, looking to close the three-point gap that has opened up between themselves and the automatic promotion places.

Whilst Cardiff are desperately trying to claw their way back into top-two contention, Saturday’s opponents are faltering in the race for the play-offs, entertaining Warnock’s side on the back of a winless January.

Leeds have slipped to 10th, with Thomas Christiansen’s side sitting four points adrift of the top-six heading into this weekend’s fixtures.

The Verdict

Zohore and his Cardiff teammates will feel confident heading to Elland Road this weekend, with the Bluebirds coming up against a Leeds side who are in serious trouble.

However, Warnock will be drilling it into his team not to be complacent heading to Elland Road, as he has seen first-hand how the atmosphere in Leeds can change a result.

Saturday’s clash should be a good contest.
