Cardiff City travel to West Bromwich Albion tomorrow, as the Welsh side look to continue on their ascent up the Championship table.

Wednesday night was one to remember for Neil Warnock, whose side beat QPR 3-0 - their biggest win of the season against one of his former clubs to take them into the top-ten of the Championship.

Sean Morrison, Marlon Pack and Callum Paterson were all on the score sheet for the Bluebirds, who are now seven games unbeaten in the league.

Speaking to the press today ahead of the West Brom game, Warnock said:

"We’re getting back to where we were. You’re tempting fate because this team on Saturday will test every aspect of our run, front and back.

"They are an all-round very good team. But I think we are too. So there’s no reason it can’t be a cracking game."

Slaven Bilic’s West Brom are third in the table after a midweek defeat at Leeds. It was the Baggies’ first of the season and they’ll be out looking to set things straight at The Hawthorns tomorrow.

The verdict

Cardiff are on the up but their unbeaten run will likely be ended tomorrow. They’ve picked up just three points from five away games this season and haven’t won away from home since April.

Bilic’s side will hope to build consecutive home wins tomorrow, as they look to retake their spot at the top of the Championship table.
