Harvey Barnes has promised that he and his West Bromwich Albion team-mates will bounce back after their 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

The result was the club's first defeat in eight games and only the second time they have failed to score this season.

The Baggies had goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to thank for keeping them in the game as the Latics peppered their opponent's goal as they looked to maintain their unbeaten home record.

Paul Cook's side eventually got their well-deserved goal as Nick Powell knocked down goalkeeper Christian Walton's long punt for Josh Windass to run onto a slot past Johnstone with just 16 minutes left to play.

With six minutes remaining, things got worse for the visitors as Jake Livermore saw red after picking up two yellow cards in quick succession.

It was a rare day where every West Brom attacker seemed to have an off day, but Barnes was not hiding after the match and gave his thoughts online.
