Portsmouth fans will be drowning their sorrows today after they saw their team humbled 4-0 at home to South Coast rivals Southampton in last night's Carabao Cup tie at Fratton Park. With the result likely to further heap pressure on Kenny Jackett, fans will no doubt be looking for a quick pick me up from their side.

That pick me up may come sooner than the weekend with one of Portsmouth's missing men providing a positive compliment to supporters via Twitter regarding the support shown at Fratton Park during last night's game, in the form of a tweet from the currently injured winger Marcus Harness.

Harness of course has been out injured for Pompey since suffering a thigh strain away at Blackpool earlier this month, with the flying winger having been in top form for the Fratton Park outfit so far this term, registering two goals and one assist in his first five games before suffering the setback.
