Nottingham Forest have again been linked with a move for highly-rated Benfica youngster Jota, as per reports from Portuguese media outlet Record.

The 21-year-old was linked with a move to Forest in the January transfer window, though a deal failed to materialise as Forest brought in a total of three players.

The attacking midfielder has made 11 appearances in Liga NOS for Benfica this term, but only one of those appearances have come from the off, with the player finding game time hard to come by.

Now, Record claim that Jota is still a player on Forest's radar, with Evangelos Marinakis' other club Olympiacos also being mentioned in the report.

Can you get full marks on this Forest quiz?

It is claimed, though, that despite the Greek side's reported interest, Jota prefers a move to England, even though Forest still play in the Championship.

Forest have plenty of quality going forward, with Joe Lolley and Sammy Ameobi both establishing themselves as key players under Sabri Lamouchi this term.

But with next season in mind, Jota could be a shrewd addition for the Reds, and here, via the Nottingham Forest News page on Facebook, we take a look at fans' reactions to this rumour...

Benjamin Clarke: I signed him on fifa, he did well, so that's got to be good odds right?

Brian James Govier: Can play right wing left wing and through centre

Brian James Govier: Better than Adama Diakhaby who will go back after loan finishes. With jota being equally good on both flanks can play either as lolley likes to swap throughout game

Julian Lievesley: Always seems to be us and olympiacos in for someone invariably Portuguese

Steve Vowles: Unless we can buy him for beans can’t see it happening....

Harry Norton: Forest always seem to sign him on football manager lol

Lee Stephenson: We were in July too
