Huddersfield Town have completed the signing of Canadian goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler on a short-term deal, the club have confirmed.

Leutwiler has been a free agent after leaving League One side Fleetwood - who he only joined in the summer after his release from Blackburn - at the start of this year.

The 31-year-old had made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Cod Army during his time with the club, and has now secured himself a new team with the Terriers.

It has been announced that Leutwiler has put pen to paper on a deal with Huddersfield until the end of the season, with the Canadian international set to compete with Ryan Schofield and Manchester United loanee Joel Pereira for a spot between the posts at The John Smith's Stadium.

Taking to Twitter in the wake of Leutwiler's arrival, plenty of Huddersfield fans were keen to give their reaction to news of the club's latest signing.

Here, we take a look at what some of those Terriers supporters had to say.
