Derby County have been linked with the signing of Peterborough United attacker Siriki Dembele, as per TEAMtalk.
Dembele – who is able to play out wide or through the middle – has enjoyed an impressive start to the season for League One side Peterborough, as Darren Ferguson’s side look to push for promotion this term.
The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 12 league appearances this season, as well as chipping in with four assists.
Dembele has been an exciting player for Posh since joining from Grimsby Town in 2018, where he established himself as one of the EFL’s brightest prospects after catching the eye for the Nike Academy.
According to TEAMtalk, Derby are among a host of sides who have watched Dembele in recent weeks, with QPR, Brentford, Wolves and Crystal Palace also doing so.
It would be a bit of a coup for Derby to land the forward in January, especially considering that his brother, Karamoko, is already at Celtic.
Here, we take a look at Derby fans’ reactions to this rumour…
Do not bring any more average league one players in, we’ve got enough at the club already👎

Peterborough, again, really? Does put scouting network span any further than there, and we actually sign them?

Need to get the ownership sort. If Morris is still here in January we won't be signing anyone.
