Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United could be set to lose goalkeeper Kiko Casilla in the summer, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The Spaniard arrived at Elland Road from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, with high expectations placed upon the 32-year-old following his move from the Bernabeu.

But the experienced shot-stopper has failed to make a proper impact during his time in Yorkshire, and has divided opinions amongst the Elland Road faithful.

He was left red-faced after his antics in the play-off semi-final second leg against Derby County, where he came off his line, collided with Liam Cooper, which allowed Jack Marriott to put the ball into an empty net.

Now, Nixon claims that Casilla could be set to move back to Spain, having made just 19 appearances for the Whites, meaning that they will need to bolster their options between the sticks in the summer.
