Brentford came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon at Griffin Park.
The Bees have found themselves sitting in the play-off places for some time now and their hopes of promotion to the Premier League have continued throughout, pushing the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United for an automatic place.
Blackburn have their own promotion hopes, having developed a consistent run of late and they sat within touching distance of the play-off places prior to kick off.
Tony Mowbray’s side took the lead when lively attacker Adam Armstrong opened the scoring in the 11th minute.
Brentford struggled to get themselves in the game, despite half chances for Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, and the visitors would make it 2-0 just before the hour mark when Armstrong struck from the penalty spot after being hauled down by ‘keeper David Raya.

It looked increasingly likely from that moment on that Blackburn would go on to win the game, but the home side had other ideas and they got themselves back into the game when Ollie Watkins scored.
The leveller came from the home side’s other danger man on the day, Benrahma, who tucked away his penalty kick with twenty minutes remaining on the clock.
Here are some of the reactions to Benrahma’s penalty via social media platform Twitter:
