Hull City outcast David Milinkovic has taken shots at the club via a scathing Instagram post and claimed that he “cannot wait to leave”.
The winger joined the club last summer but has made just 12 appearances in total since.
The Frenchman was told by new boss Grant McCann that he was free to leave the Tigers in the summer but it appears he was unable to seal a move to another club.
Since then he has cut a frustrated figure at the KCOM Stadium and has only featured under McCann once–starting against Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup in August.
Despite providing a goal and an assist in that game he has not played since.
Milinkovic took to Instagram to express his annoyance yesterday, posting an image of himsel in a gym with an explosive caption.
According to Google translate, the 25-year-said: “God sees everything, one year that I do not play, cannot wait to leave to be able to express myself as quickly as possible.
“Even when playing incumbent, scoring, assisting is not enough. God is great and I hope to express myself as soon as possible”.
Hull have made a solid start to the season and are currently 16th in the Championship, with 13 points from 11 games.
It is understandable that Milinkovic would be very frustrated given how little he has featured this season but this is surely not the best way to go about things.
You can’t help but think that after this, the French winger’s Hull career is all but over. The sooner they can find him a new club, the better for both parties involved.
Milinkovic has performed in the past, providing six goals and five assists in 22 appearances for Hearts and seven goals and eight assists in 34 appearances for ACR Messina, but things have not worked out for him at the Yorkshire club.
