Wyke scored 23 goals in 62 games for Bradford, including 16 last season after moving from Carlisle United.

At League Two Carlisle, the striker hit 39 goals in 89 games before moving up a division joining the Bantams in January 2016.

The former Middlesbrough academy product has also had loan spells with the likes of AFC Wimbledon and Hartlepool United in his career.

Now the 25-year-old completes a switch to Sunderland, where he becomes the Black Cats' 11th signing of the summer transfer window and he will compete for a starting space in Jack Ross' team.

Wyke is the fourth striker on Sunderland's senior books, joining recent academy graduates Andrew Nelson and Josh Maja, as well as Jerome Sinclair, who has joined on loan from Watford.

Here are what some Sunderland fans are saying on Twitter about the arrival of Wyke.
