‘Can we donate a few to charity?’ – Many Stoke City fans discuss potential summer sales

Many Stoke City fans have discussed the potential of a number of players being made available for sale this summer.

Michael O’Neill has gradually improved things at the Bet365 stadium since taking over from Nathan Jones in November, but he is yet to have a summer transfer window in charge of the club.

With the Potters Championship future still up in the air, sitting in the lower regions of the league table, fans have been left with a nervous wait during the postponement of fixtures due to the latest pandemic.

O’Neill will be expected to bring in some fresh faces this summer, but that could now be halted or at least, lessoned due to financial restraints clubs are suffering due to no football being played.

Whilst no confirmation over the Championship’s return has been made, clubs are left waiting to see what happens.

Looking ahead to Stoke’s potential summer window and he obvious need to bring in some new faces, the former Northern Irish boss could look and be forced to sell in order to recoup some transfer funds.
