Andrea Radrizzani and Leeds United are making full use of their connections in Qatar this week, with the club’s youth teams representing the Whites in an international tournament.

The Whites moved to confirm yesterday that two separate age groups had flown to Qatar to take on Aspire Academy and Shandong Luneng this week.

Further developments from Leeds’ official Twitter account (@LUFC) later went on to confirm how Leeds’ under-16 and under-18 squads had performed in their first outing, with confirmation that both won their respective fixtures against Shandong Luneng 5-0.

Ryan Edmondson was the star for Leeds’ under-18 side, with the youngster bagging a hat-trick in Qatar, whilst he was joined on the scoresheet by Jack Clarke and Alfie McCalmont.
