Can Nuno’s side extend their lead? Pundit makes his prediction ahead of Wolves v Fulham

David Prutton is expecting Wolverhampton Wanderers to extend their lead at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table this evening against Fulham, and claim top spot heading into November’s international break, reports Sky Sports.
Writing in his prediction column for Sky, Prutton has predicted Wolves to pick up a 2-0 victory over Fulham this evening, with Leo Bonatini scoring the first goal for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Wolves enter tonight’s contest top of the Championship table, having returned to winning ways and the summit of the division on Tuesday evening, after Nuno masterminded a 2-0 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road. Victory again this evening will see Wolves open up a four point lead at the top of the table ahead of tomorrow’s fixtures, guaranteeing that they will be top heading into next week’s international break.
Their visitors this evening, Fulham, are struggling in the Championship, with Slavisa Jokanovic’s side entering tonight’s contest without a victory in their last four Championship fixtures, which has left the Cottagers 16th in the table, six points behind the play-offs and 13 behind leaders, Wolves.
The Verdict
Although Wolves and Fulham have had contrasting starts to the Championship season, tonight’s clash will be well worth watching, with both clubs capable of playing some exceptional football.
Fulham are sure to come good at some point this season, whilst Wolves look like they will be challenging for a Premier League return in May.
Many are expecting to see the form table stay true this evening, but it would be no surprise to see Fulham walk away from Molineux with some points.
