Can Nottingham Forest continue their winning start at Barnsley or can the Tykes turn their fortunes around?

Nottingham Forest travel to Barnsley tonight fresh off the back of consecutive Championship wins, and boss Mark Warburton will be keen to see his side continue their 100% start to the season this evening.

Warburton’s men kicked off their campaign with a solid home victory over new boys Millwall, before a dramatic 4-3 defeat of the manager’s former side Brentford at Griffin Park at the weekend.

Barnsley’s fortunes have been at the other end of the spectrum, and defeats to Bristol City and Ipswich Town have left Paul Heckingbottom’s men pointless thus far.

However, the Tykes stuttering start to the season could arguably have been expected, with no less than twelve new faces introduced to the squad since the summer transfer window opened earlier in the year.

Settling so many players in will take time, but Heckingbottom will need his new look squad to gel very quickly if he is to continue in the role for the foreseeable future.

The young boss has done a fantastic job at the Yorkshire outfit, but football is fickle, and Heckingbottom could be looking for a new job if an upturn in result does not happen soon.

Forest have performed well in their opening fixtures, but both games have been hard fought, and Heckingbottom will fancy his chances of securing a result when his side welcome the East Midlands side to Oakwell.

Warburton will go into the game brimming with confidence, and is likely to stick with the side that picked up the points at Griffin Park.

This game is hard to call despite the contrasting fortunes of the two sides, so I’m going down the middle with a score draw, as Barnsley pick up their first point of the season.

Who do you think takes the points at Oakwell this evening?
