Bristol City legend Brian Tinnion is considering leaving the club after a dispute over the transfer policy at Ashton Gate.

The former player, who made almost 500 appearances for the Robins, is the current loan player manager for the Championship side but Bristol Live have revealed he is unhappy with how the club operate now.

That will be referring to the recent summer signings, many younger players, who have seemingly blocked the path for the academy lads. The report also states that other academy coaches at the club share his concern, with Antoine Semenyo the only player in the first-team squad right now who progressed through the ranks.

Any, they claim that Southampton are one of a few Premier League sides who are monitoring Tinnion's situation and they could offer him a chance to work in the top-flight.

As you would expect, the fans are desperate for Tinnion to stay, not only because he is a legend at the club, but also for the work he has done in recent years.
