Can Brighton and Hove Albion keep up the pace in the Championship?

After their unbeaten start, sitting top of the Championship table with 22 points after 10 games, many fans having been asking questions as about the Seagulls.

Can the Seagulls keep up the pace?

Can the Seagulls keep up the pace?

Can Chris Hughton’s side really keep up this pace throughout the season, and gain promotion to the Premier League?

Here are some of the factors that will play a part….

Form of Tomer Hemed – The Israeli striker has been instrumental to the Seagulls’ early form and if he can keep scoring, and notch 25+ goals this season, Brighton will be on their way to the title.

Performance of title challengers – Steve Clarke’s Reading are looking outstanding since their shaky start, brushing away competent sides such as Middlesbrough and Burnley, who themselves have Premier League quality squads. Hull and Derby look like solid sides and seem to have the quality need to launch serious promotion bids. Cardiff, QPR, Fulham and Birmingham could also provide competition.

Home support – Being in a strong early position is no strange feeling for Brighton. The same has been the case on multiple occasions. If the home crowd stick with their side through the tough parts of the season then they could be set for a successful season.

Brighton and Hove Albion fans…… What do you think? Can you keep up this pace? Or will you falter soon? Let us know your thoughts and opinions below!
