Coventry City are enjoying a brilliant campaign under Mark Robins at present and are seemingly nearing a return to the Championship, with the Sky Blues currently sitting in second place after 31 games played.
Much of the club’s success this term has been due to the way that Robins has managed his squad, with the former Manchester United player having rotated when needed in order to maintain the sort of consistency in terms of performance that is needed to achieve promotion.
With the Sky Blues possessing an average age of 24 and a half, it is clear that the manager’s faith in producing young players from their academy and sourcing the best talent from the lower leagues is paying dividends as they look to return to the Championship for the first time since 2012.
