Wolves are far from safe in this season’s race for safety in the Championship and Paul Lambert has a real job on his hands, if he’s to keep his side in the division.

In what has been a seriously underwhelming campaign, a decent Wolves side on paper has struggled to wrap up games and at times, have been outfought both on the road and at Molineux.

It all points to the need for change this summer and if the board do stick with Lambert at the helm of the club, he’s going to want to make changes at the top.

His side have got a tough run of games on the horizon in the Championship and there are a number of players that really need to prove themselves, if they’re to stay with the side next season.

There are players that have been coasting for far too long when in hindsight, this Wolves side needs an overhaul.

So with that in mind here’s TWO players most likely to quit Wolves this summer….

George Saville

Despite signing from Chelsea and earning rave reviews during a loan spell with Brentford a couple of years ago, there are plenty of supporters that haven’t been too impressed with George Saville this campaign.

He’s an industrious young player who can play in the middle-of-the-park or in defence but at times, you wonder if the 23-year-old has found his best position.

Perhaps a new challenge at a new club might be best for his development-  Wolves need to seriously freshen things up.

Prince Oniangue

When Paul Lambert came in, it was clear that summer signing Prince Oniangue wasn’t going to be a big part of his first-team plans.

The Frenchman was shipped out to Bastia for the remainder of the season and despite putting in some decent performances at the start of the campaign, it wasn’t enough for Lambert to keep him at the club.

Don’t expect to be seeing Oniangue at Wolves for much longer but he’s good enough to move onto a very decent club indeed.
