Nottingham Forest have had a real season to forget and their fans have really been through the mill, as the squad battles to remain in the Championship.

Managerial sackings, troubles of the pitch and a lack of points has all resulted in one of the worst Forest seasons we’ve seen in years.

But on paper, Forest have a squad that should be far higher up the table and supporters are growing frustrated with what they’re seeing on the pitch.

Mark Warburton has been appointed as the club's new manager at the City Ground and for the sake of taking the team forward, it seems bringing someone in sooner rather than later would certainly help matters at the club.

But whoever is in-charge come the end of the season, there are individuals that will be thinking about their own futures this summer.

Whether it’s because of lack of playing time or quite simply having enough, we’re expected to see a Forest clearout over the next few months.

So with that in mind, here’s the TWO Nottingham Forest players who are most likely to quit the club this summer…

Damien Perquis

Polish international Damien Perquis hasn’t featured for Nottingham Forest since before Christmas and despite turning in some good performance at the start of the season, few are expecting him to stay beyond the summer.

Things haven’t been great at Forest all season but Perquis is struggling to get games and with the manager set to change again in the coming weeks, it’s set to be all-change again at Forest.

That could push Perquis even further down the pecking order which ultimately, could see him leave the club at the end of the campaign.

David Vaughan

Veteran midfielder David Vaughan isn’t the sort of player that will lead any sort of Forest revival at 34-years-old.

He’s perfectly capable of coming in and steadying the ship when needs be but right now, Forest need players that are going to really turn things around on the pitch.

He’s got plenty of experience, granted, but really, he’s not the sort of player that can lead Forest out of this current slump.

The new manager is likely to bring new ideas new players and new philosophies.

That’s just what the Reds need at the moment.
