It’s been a slow start to the summer transfer window for Leeds United, who are focusing on moving players on rather than getting fresh faces in at Elland Road.

However, the Whites have been linked with plenty of players already this summer, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to reshape the squad he has inherited at Elland Road.

The latest player to be linked with a move to LS11 is Lewis Baker, with Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post confirming that Leeds have an interest in signing the Chelsea midfielder either on-loan or permanently.

The 23-year-old’s chance of first-team football at Stamford Bridge has never come, with the midfielder spending time away from London on-loan, most recently with Middlesbrough in the Championship last season.

There was plenty of reaction to the news that Leeds were interested in Baker.

Here is the best of it…

Clearly, Leeds’ supporters feel other areas of their squad need prioritising, but plenty are impressed by the links with Baker, who does have real quality.
