Sheffield Wednesday are looking that bit stronger right now with them earning another win at the weekend against Hull City.

Overall, the Owls will not be too happy with the way things have gone this season and rightly so.

Indeed, they've a squad good enough to challenge for the top six but injuries and poor form have largely let them down and now it remains to be seen just how high up they can finish.

Certainly, the final few games of this campaign remain important as they'll be looking to take momentum into next year's challenge whilst other matters will also need to be resolved soon.

There's a lot going on at Hillsborough right now and changes are perhaps to be expected in one way or another.

With that in mind, then, here are three things we think could change at the club within a month from today's date.

Luhukay has had some doubters since joining but the mindset at the club could change if they finish strongly.

In recent weeks we've seen things improve thanks to a return to the squad from a number of key players and Luhukay has begun to hint at what might be possible under him.

For sure, there's still some that might think he should move on in the summer now the Owls are stable in the league but if they finish well they are going to likely see him in a positive light.

Who knows when this is exactly going to end but it's certain that it needs to be resolved too.

Hirst remains without a contract at the end of the campaign and will be free to discuss terms with other clubs ahead of any move.

He's featured in the U23 side of late, though, and with a few games to go in the league, is there a chance he could feature for the senior side?

There's still a chance a deal could be done, no matter how remote that may seem.

Sam Winnall is also a man whose future remains unclear right now.

He is on loan at Derby where he did well until getting injured and you'd think that the Rams would want to keep him at the club past this season.

Wednesday might also wonder whether he's worth another chance and so, in a month's time, the club might have decided just what they want to do with him.
