It’s not been the fast start to the summer that Leeds United’s supporters were expecting, with Marcelo Bielsa’s squad still looking short of where they want to be heading into next season.

So far this summer, Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman have arrived at Elland Road, with the midfielder and goalkeeper arriving on-loan from Premier League club, Chelsea.

Leeds are still working on a number of other deals, with areas of Bielsa’s squad needing real quality added.

Bielsa’s side take on Stoke City on the opening day of the Championship season, with that fixture now just around the corner.

The bulk of Leeds’ work in the transfer window is going to have to be done between now and the end of July, if they are to have a good chance of competing next season.

With that in mind, here is a look at THREE deals we believe that Whites need to conclude between now and the end of the month…

Egan is an outstanding centre-back, who has exceled in recent seasons for Brentford.

Leeds need to get at least one more centre-back in this month and Egan would be a standout option.

This type of signing would delight supporters.

Leeds’ quest to sign a striker hasn’t gone well this summer, with deals for Abel Hernandez and Matej Vydra not coming off.

Bielsa wants a new forward on board and one man he could turn to is Oliveira.

The Norwich striker hasn’t been prolific at Carrow Road in recent seasons, but a move could work wonders for his career.

Diaz is part of Manchester City’s exceptional academy and has already tasted first-team football in the Premier League and Champions League.

If Leeds and Bielsa can agree a loan deal to bring the youngster on board, it has the potential to be one of the summer’s best deals.
