With all due respect, it looks as though Karl Robinson's departure earlier this season has actually worked out for Charlton Athletic more than the 37-year-old.

Whilst Robinson took the punt on moving to Oxford United and has since seen form hardly pick up, the Addicks have seen Lee Bowyer come in and quickly prove a revelation.

Certainly, though it is still early days in his reign he looks as though he could be a bright man in the dugout at the Valley and a play-off place is still more than attainable thanks to his impact.

Focus will be fully on that in these final weeks, then, at the club but here at Football League World we've got the luxury of looking ahead to the transfer window, too.

With that said, here are three players we think the club should be taking a look at this coming window...

Kayden Jackson looks a real talent and if Charlton do not go up via the play-offs they could face the forward when Accrington Stanley come up against them.

Even so, the Addicks should still try and add his goals and assists to their ranks because he has shown that he is more than ready for at least one step up in the Football League.

He's the sort of player Lee Bowyer will feel he can really work with.

Otis Khan is a superb player in League Two and again should be on the move before too long higher up the divisions.

The Glovers probably know this as well and are likely expecting bids and we think Charlton should be part of the party.

He has great drive and tenacity in midfield and is hard to win the ball off of making him a key asset in transitions.

Demetriou is a fine player and has shown that he can more than lend a hand in the goal-scoring stakes for Southend this season.

The Essex side have turned their fortunes around since Chris Powell's arrival but that does not mean that they are guaranteed to keep their best players in the summer.

Could the Addicks profit from one of their former stars now being in charge at Roots Hall?
