Nottingham Forest salvaged a draw from the jaws of defeat today with Hillal Soudani scoring an injury-time equaliser to earn a 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic.

Forest twice trailed through Nick Powell and Will Grigg goals but an electric performance from one man dragged the Reds to a point.

It was not one of the many new faces brought in during the summer who did it either. It was Forest youth graduate Matty Cash who shone.

The 21-year-old scored the goal that initially brought Karanka's side level midway through the first half, finishing coolly after the Latics were caught in possession.

He then won Forest a penalty in second-half injury time after Wigan had retaken the lead, and although the penalty was missed by Lewis Grabban, Soudani was there to bury the rebound.

It was a performance that did not pass the fans by either, with Cash's name on everybody's lips come the final whistle.

Here is how the fans reacted to the youngster's performance...
