Brentford winger Sergi Canos has shared an update on his recovery as he aims to bounce back from the knee injury which has kept him out of action since early October.
The 22-year-old started each of Brentford’s opening 11 league matches this campaign, but he then sustained a serious injury during his side’s clash with Nottingham Forest in October which has ruled him out for a significant period of time.
Canos has been an integral figure since his return to Griffin Park in January 2017, but Thomas Frank’s side have managed to cope well in his absence, with the Bees having now won six of their last eight league matches.
There has not yet been a time frame put on the Spaniard’s recovery due to the injury’s severity, but the fact he signed a new four-year contract just days after his setback suggests he still hopes to have a bright future with the Bees.
It has now been five weeks since Canos underwent knee surgery, and he has now taken to Instagram to share an image showing him back on his feet as he looks to step up his recovery.
