Hull City moved up to 12th in the Championship table as they beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 on Tuesday evening.

Tom Eaves netted the only goal of the game on 72 minutes, as his header found the top corner to see Grant McCann's side come away from the game with three points.

It was Eaves' first goal for Hull, after he completed a move to the Championship club from League One side Gillingham in the summer.

There were high-hopes for the striker when he first arrived at the KCOM Stadium, after scoring 21 league goals for the Gills in an impressive season last term.

But for one reason or another, he hasn't hit the ground running, although he'll be delighted to get off the mark for the Tigers in this year's campaign.

Plenty of Hull City fans took to social media to issue their thoughts on Eaves' first goal for the club.
