Burton Albion have signed striker Stuart Beavon on a three-year deal.
The 30-year-old, who was released by Preston North End last season, was on a loan-deal but has now put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract which will keep him at the club until 2017.
“Stuart has been one of our most influential players since joining in the summer and I’m really pleased that he’s committed his future to us on a longer-term basis,” said manager Gary Rowett, speaking to the club’s website.
“Everyone here has seen his ability and hat he brings to the side, and hopefully it’s a sign of things to come throughout his time with us,” he concluded.
Beavon has scored two goals in five appearances for Burton.
