Northern Ireland international and SPL top scorer is being linked with a move away from Ross County to join Nigel Clough’s revolution at Burton Albion.
The former Cliftonville striker is in fine form after scoring his first international goal against New Zealand in Belfast.
Boyce finished top of the goal scoring chart in the SPL in 2016-17, scoring 24 goals for Ross County.
The Brewers struggled in front of goal last season but managed to survive against all odds in the Sky Bet Championship.
Next season, Burton Albion will definitely be looking to bring in a goal scoring striker to fire them up the table.
The 26-year-old striker also had a short spell at Werder Breman during his career so this shows that there is no shortage of experience in his locker.
Standing at 6ft 2in, Boyce would bring many attributes to the Pirelli Stadium.
The fee would break their transfer record, however he is definitely worth shelling a six figure sum on because of his proven goal scoring exploits in the top division in Scotland.
Boyce and attacking midfielder Jackson Irvine would be the perfect partnership in my opinion as they are both big and physical – everything a Championship strike duo needs to be.
Burton Albion would suit Boyce’s game-play as he prefers crosses into the box to get on the end of so the move seems like a no-brainer for both the player and for the Brewers.
