Ipswich Town are starting to climb up the League One table after a difficult start to the campaign.

The Tractor Boys, who recruited extensively over the summer, found it difficult to make things click with so many fresh faces in the opening couple of months, but they have since found their rhythm and are now operating just outside the play-off positions.

With the Suffolk club gradually rising up the table, it seems that Paul Cook is starting to find out what his best XI is, and finding at this point of the season now could be pivotal in what is expected to be a push for promotion.

The Tractor Boys face a very difficult test on Saturday when they make the trip up to Sunderland, despite The Black Cats struggling for form at present.

Here, we take a look at how Ipswich could line up when they visit the north east tomorrow afternoon...

Christian Walton has firmly established his place in-between the sticks for The Tractor Boys this season and he is likely to get the nod against Sunderland tomorrow.

Janoi Donacien and Matt Penney seem to be the full-backs most likely to start with a fit squad, with the pair possessing attacking drive as well as defensive stability.

Toto Nsiala has come into the Ipswich side in recent weeks and has proven to be a dominant force in the air and has instilled confidence into the backline.

He is likely to partner George Edmundson, who has been a regular feature in Ipswich's side the season.

Sam Morsy and Lee Evans are likely to be deployed in holding midfield positions tomorrow, with the pair having the experience, fight and technical ability to help Ipswich in their pursuit of dominating the midfield battle.

The Tractor Boys certainly have some excellent options in forward positions, but it will be no surprise to see Wes Burns on the right of a three behind the striker, with Bersant Celina and Kyle Edwards alongside him.

Joe Pigott put in a decent enough display in the FA Cup, but it is unlikely to dethrone Macauley Bonne who has been prolific early in this campaign.
