Burnley look to continue their charge towards promotion this weekend with a big game against Norwich City, who are also looking to win promotion this year.

Both sides would have been tipped by onlookers to challenge for the top two places in the division this year but whilst Burnley have come good on that, Norwich have struggled for consistency.

Under David Wagner, though, they are looking to finish this season with momentum and a play-off place is still very much up for grabs, though a top two spot might be out of reach this year.

Burnley will want to make sure those behind them do not get a chance of closing the gap at all, meanwhile, and a win here will only strengthen their already considerable belief that they are going up this season.

In terms of team news for this one, Ian Maatsen could come back into the side with the team potentially looking similar to the one that faced West Brom last time out in the league, after Kompany made some changes against Ipswich in the FA Cup.

A few players are either doubts or definitely out, meanwhile, with Manuel Benson ruled out with an ankle injury and Taylor Harwood-Bellis is also unavailable.

Kompany has recently said the side is battling a few minor issues elsewhere, with one of those recently being Johann Berg Gudmundsson and so it remains to be seen who makes the cut for the starting XI.

Regardless of the side that Burnley put out, however, it is going to be a strong one and certainly one that will give Norwich problems.

The Yellows have their own talents in their side, meanwhile, and will want to show they can match Burnley even if the league table has gone much in favour of the Clarets.

A great game in prospect, then, and one to look forward to this weekend.
