Recently relegated Burnley have accepted an incredible £12 million offer from Tottenham Hotspur for striker Danny Ings, according to the Daily Mail.
Despite being out of contract this summer and announcing that he won’t be signing a new contract at Turf Moore, Spurs have lodged a £12 million bid in for the 22-year-old, in the hope that they can beat rivals Liverpool and Manchester United to his signature.
La Liga side Real Sociedad are also lining up a move from him, despite Ings favouring a move to Merseyside club Liverpool.
The Reds were reportedly lining up a £5 million move, but will apparently jack it up to £10 million, as Tottenham’s bid is accepted.
Burnley will be looking to squeeze as much money as possible from the England under-21 international in the hope that he doesn’t leave on a free transfer.
Despite Ings’ eleven goals, the Clarets couldn’t stay in the Premier League and were relegated from the top flight after just one season, along with QPR and Hull City.
