West Bromwich Albion are back in Sky Bet Championship action this evening against Nottingham Forest, with Darren Moore’s side looking to put their first points on the board.

After relegation from the Premier League last season, West Brom endured a tough start to life back in the Championship on Saturday, with unfancied Bolton Wanderers winning 2-1 at the Hawthorns.

Tonight, Moore’s side face another difficult test, heading to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest, who despite not having the best start to the season, look extremely strong on paper and will be wanting to make an impact in their first home fixture.

The Baggies do have plenty of quality themselves, and Moore will be hoping that his squad can find their best on the road this evening to kick-start their season.

Here at FLW, we take a look at West Brom’s squad, identifying the starting XI we believe that Moore needs to be fielding…

Johnstone is going to be West Brom’s No.1 this season, so there is little doubt that he will be in goal.

Faith was placed in the 30-year-old on Saturday, and despite the result against Bolton, it’s hard to imagine that Moore will want to unsettle his defence too much.

Bartley is going to be important for the Baggies this season, they need him to find his best quickly.

Consistency is key in any centre-back partnership, Moore will know this and will keep faith with the two that featured over the weekend.

At his best, Gibbs could be one of the Championship’s most impressive left-backs.

West Brom could do with the ex-Arsenal man having an influence in both attack and defence.

Again, Livermore could be so good for West Brom in the Championship.

Getting the midfielder up to the speed of the division again is going to be important.

Barry has so much experience and Moore needs to consider bringing him in at Forest.

Nottingham Forest know all about the quality Burke has at this level.

It was a surprise to see him out of the starting XI at the weekend and Moore should think about recalling him.

By bringing Barry back into the side, Brunt has a licence to get further forward, which could be a tactic that works.

Matt Phillips could well drop out of the XI, with Barnes retaining his place on the opposite side to Burke.

Barnes’ goal on Saturday was superb and Moore will want to see more of that.

Moore will be backing Rodriguez to find his goalscoring touch this evening, but with Dwight Gayle now on board, West Brom’s goalscoring woes should be resolved before long.
