Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to get themselves up the league table as much as possible now under Steve Bruce.

The Owls have kept two clean sheets so far under his official stewardship and that at least bodes well after the struggles they had earlier this season.

Now, though, they'll be looking for more goals as they head into a midweek clash with Millwall later on this week.

Keeping on a defensive note, however, Dom Howson was at Steve Bruce's press conference earlier today and he has revealed how the new boss has played down suggestions Tom Lees could return:

The defender is one of the better ones in the league and when fit he is a real asset.

However, he has had his ups and downs fitness wise at the club and it would probably make sense not to rush him back - though the fact he is making progress is obviously positive.

The Verdict

Lees is a good player and when fit he is absolutely in contention to start every game.

With the Owls improving at the back, his return could boost that further but it is important that he and the club don't rush him in too soon.
