One player not in the plans of Aston Villa manager Dean Smith is winger Albert Adomah, who has been released by the club following their promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs last season.

Adomah may well not be without a club for long, with Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Millwall all interested in signing the 31-year-old Ghanaian international, as reported in the Bristol Post.

So of the aforementioned clubs, which one would be the best destination for Adomah?

We discuss........

Kealan Hughes

"If Bristol City's interest is concrete that is probably the best move for him.

"He loves the club, and has stated previously that he would love to move back one day if the chance came. Now that time has come, and with The Robins aiming for the play-offs next season, Adomah has the chance to be part of something quite special.

"However, if the likes of Leeds come in it could be very difficult to turn down. Adomah would love another promotion and if he signs for two years then he could get another crack at Premier League football."

Jacob Potter

"Bristol City would be best-suited for him.

"Adomah will feel as though he has unfinished business with his former club, and I think this would be the best place for him as he'd be guaranteed regular game time.

"At Nottingham Forest, I can't see him getting in their side ahead of Joe Lolley and it would be a poor choice if he went there just to occupy a spot on the substitutes bench."

George Brooks

"I think Adomah be a good signing for Bristol City, Nottingham Forest or Millwall and I wouldn't be surprised to see him at any of those clubs next season.

"Perhaps he will feel that he has unfinished business at Ashton Gate, so that may be his preferred destination.

"He'd be pretty much guaranteed to start every week for Millwall, so he might want to move there as well.

"I think Bristol City would probably be the best destination for him, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up elsewhere in the Championship."
