Bristol City striker Famara Diedhiou has cast doubt over his future at the club after admitting that he has interest from the Premier League and from Turkey, according to reports in Senegal.

Senegalese media outlet Xalimasn conducted an interview with the Bristol City forward in which he revealed that he was settled at Ashton Gate but unsure about his future.

Diedhiou arrived at Bristol City in the summer transfer window, joining from French side Angers for a club record fee and he has scored 14 times this season, which has been an impressive haul considering he spent some time out injured.

The 25-year-old, who stands at 6ft 3in, has enjoyed an impressive start to life in England and he has now revealed that there are teams interested in signing him this summer.

When quizzed about his future at Bristol City, Diedhiou answered that he and his family were settled in the area but he would make a decision at the end of the Championship season.

Diedhiou added that he had some interested parties in the top flight of English football and in Turkey as well.

The 6-cap Senegal international also revealed his desire to represent his country at the upcoming World Cup.

The Verdict

Diedhiou has had a decent start to life in the Championship and he should probably stay at Bristol City. Next season, he will be more used to life in England, the style of football and if he can stay injury free, he could fire them to promotion. I cannot see the Robins selling him for anything less than they bought him for either.
