A dramatic 93rd minute goal from Bristol City's Famara Diedhiou gave his side a 1-0 win at home to struggling Hull City last night.

It comes just days after Bristol had secured a replicate 1-0 win against Brentford. On that occasion it was an injury time goal from Niclas Eliasson that stole all the points for Bristol.

The wins mark the end of a five-game winless run for City, who are placed eighth in the Championship table, two points behind Norwich in the final play-off spot, and just four points off leaders, Leeds United.

This Saturday, Lee Johnson's Bristol side will host a struggling Stoke City, who currently sit 17th in the Championship table.

The home side are the favourites to win, and it's a game that could become pivotal in setting Bristol up for a successful upcoming month.

Through November, Bristol will line-up against three of the Championship's bottom six clubs - Reading, Preston North End and Ipswich Town, along with a trip to Leeds' Elland Road in the mix too.

If City can capitalise on a kind run of fixtures that lies before them, they could well find themselves with a play-off spot come the start of December.

After missing out on the opportunity to compete in the play-offs last season, Bristol and their loyal fans will be hoping the story will be different this time round.
