Bristol City are set to make a fresh offer for Gillingham star Bradley Dack, according to HITC Sport.
Dack has lit up League One this season with a string of impressive performances, as the Gills have challenged in the top two for most of the season.
The Robins have already tabled a bid of around £1m during the window only to see it rejected.
It is expected they will go back in for the goalscoring midfielder in the next few days as the window draws to a close.
Dack, 22, has enjoyed an excellent season thus far, scoring 14 goals and providing eight assists for team mates.
Although Dack has publicly stated he is happy with the Gills, Bristol have demonstrated already that they are willing to spend big and may well have enough to tempt him to make the move to the South West.
Dack has spent his entire player career with the Gills, making over 100 appearances and averaging a goal nearly every four games in the process.
Gillingham sit in second place in League One at the moment following Saturday’s win over Peterborough, while Bristol City remain in the bottom three in the Championship and will be desperate for new faces to try and lift them out of the drop zone.
