Bristol City remain in the play-off race with just a few games to go in the campaign in the Sky Bet Championship.

The men from Ashton Gate have, on the whole, had a good season and would have surely taken the offer of being just off of the play-offs at this point if you'd suggested it at the start of the campaign.

Thanks to their superb form in late 2017, though, their 2018 form has looked pretty below par and the players will know that ahead of the final few games.

Even so, they should not look on this season as a negative but one that can be built on regardless of final finishing place and that will start in the summer window.

What happens there remains to be seen, of course, but it might be wise if the Robins looked to let these three players go...

Engvall is currently out on loan and it might be expected by many that he's going to make such an exit permanent.

The man from Scandinavia is still very young and has potential but the Robins have a number of forwards ahead of him in the pecking order that are proving tough to budge.

The likes of Bobby Reid and Famara Diedhiou are superb and so Engvall might be better off moving on.

Magnusson was on the brink of leaving last summer but that did not go through and since he has been in and out of the side.

He's very much behind Aden Flint and Nathan Baker in the centre-half pecking order so he's certainly got his work cut out.

He needs to be playing as he approaches his peak years and so a move might just go through in the coming window.

Taylor's been unlucky this season for the Robins and, indeed, last year after he joined from local rivals Bristol Rovers.

There's certainly a sharp forward in there but the form of those around him and their consistency has meant he's not been able to get much of a run in the side.

He might be open to a loan move away at the very least this summer in order to try and build some confidence and sharpness.
