Bristol City fans have been calling for winger Niclas Eliasson to start for a while now, and they would have been excited to have seen that he was in the starting lineup on Saturday.

The Swedish winger has been at Ashton Gate since 2017 after signing from Norrkoping, and he has been used as an impact sub for the majority of his time on the English shores so far.

In just his fourth start of the league season on Saturday, the 23-year-old mesmerised the Robins supporters with his quick feet and his creativity as he left the 20,000+ fans purring over his performance.

Eliasson has proven that he is one of the more creative players in the Championship this season with six assists already to his name before Saturday, and he would have added to that total by directly assisting Ashley Williams' goal at the end of the first half.

Every club needs a player that can get fans off their seats as well as get supporters through the door, and Eliasson is just that player.
