Bristol City’s interest in Yeovil Town defender Luke Ayling could be over, according to the Western Gazette.
Bristol City were strongly linked with the 22 year old, but after the signing of Peterborough defender Mark Little yesterday, it looks more and more unlikely Ayling will move to the south west.
Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill has been scouting both players and Little and Ayling both play in the same position.
Ayling will be part of the Yeovil squad for the start of pre-season. Manager Gary Johnson is keen to secure the services of Ayling but it yet so sign a new deal for the Glovers.
The former Arsenal Youth player is still being monitored by Championship duo Brentford and Ipswich Town.
