Bristol City have confirmed that Tommy Conway has agreed a new contract with the club, that should see him remaining at Ashton Gate until 2025.

The Robins have had plenty of good young players come through over the years, with some moving on to represent the club at senior level for a long period, and Conway may well hope that that is going to be the next step in his journey at the club.

Certainly, he has every chance of doing so with him signing a deal that will keep him at the club until at least 2025 should he see the full term through, with the Robins confirming the news on Twitter:

A player that has been involved with the club since he was a kid, Conway will know more than most what it means to represent City and, naturally, fans are always excited when they see such a prospect coming through the ranks.

The Verdict

This is great news for the Robins.

Conway is a good footballer and one that clearly has enough talent for City to feel as though he is worth keeping around and developing.

The next three years of his career are going to be really interesting to watch, as he'll be looking to break into the first team more, and this deal is a nod to the fact that the club thinks he is good enough to do that.
