Premier League side Bournemouth could make a summer move for Bristol City forward Bobby Reid, according to respected journalist Alan Nixon.

The Cherries are looking to add some more firepower to their squad during the transfer window, and manager Eddie Howe has identified Reid as the ideal sort of signing for his club, following Reid’s excellent season at Bristol City.

Reid has knocked in an impressive 17 goals for the Robins and contributed another six assists as he has revelled in a role further forward for Lee Johnson’s side, and his form has attracted plenty of admiring glances from above, with the Cherries now keen to make a move.

Bournemouth have once again secured Premier League football at the Vitality for next season, with manager Howe becoming recognised as one of the finest young coaches in the game.

Howe has dipped into the market in the Championship on plenty of occasions previously, signing the likes of Lewis Cook and Andrew Surman among others, and would have no problem splashing the cash to land Reid should he become available.
