Bristol City and Fulham ready to make January swoop for 26-year-old striker

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers forward Martyn Waghorn is ready to leave Rangers this summer with Fulham and Bristol City both keen on making a move.

Martyn Waghorn is reportedly unhappy after not being offered fresh terms at Ibrox and that could force the striker to make a return to England.

Bristol City were linked with Waghorn in the summer but a move never materialised and now Fulham are also interested in making a move for the want-away front man.

In recent weeks, Scottish Premier League outfit Rangers have handed new improved contracts to Wes Foderingham, James Tavernier and Rob Kiernan.

Waghorn is said to be unhappy that his wage does not match the likes of Niko Kranjcar and Joe Garner despite his 28 goal tally last season.

The 26-year-old has had spells at a number of English clubs including Charlton, Leicester and Wigan and he could even depart Ibrox on loan in January.

Bristol City and Fulham fans – would Waghorn be a good addition? What could he offer your squad? Let us know in the comments below…
