Bristol City slipped deeper into relegation trouble last night, as they suffered a defeat to Fulham at Ashton Gate, adding to already mounting pressure on Lee Johnson.

Goals from Lucas Piazon and Tom Cairney, either side of half-time, gave the Cottagers a 2-0 victory, leaving Johnson’s side just two-points above the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone.

Many fans are unhappy with the club’s current league position, following an impressive start to the season, which saw them in search of a Play-Off place, and are now asking for a change of manager.

Johnson was appointed at Ashton Gate 12-months ago and guided City to an 18^th placed finish last season, helping them to avoid relegation.

The Robins look increasingly likely to be facing another relegation battle this season, with the club recording just one victory since early December.
