Queens Park Rangers have made an approach to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Troy Parrott on-loan, reports Football Insider.

The 17-year-old has a couple of first-team appearances to his name at Spurs and an international cap with the Republic of Ireland, and now Jose Mourinho will allow him to leave on-loan this month.

Parrott made his first-team debut for Spurs in the Carabao Cup back in September but has found game-time hard to come by at Spurs. Now though it looks likely that he'll spend the second-half of the season away from the club, with Charlton Athletic also said to be interested.

QPR were dealt a huge blow today, as Burnley recalled striker Nahki Wells from his loan-spell at the club. It comes amidst rumours that Bristol City are planning to bring the 29-year-old to Ashton Gate on a permanent basis.
