After enduring a turbulent spell at Elland Road, Caleb Ekuban has been given a new lease of life since his loan switch from Leeds United to Trabzonspor.

The 25-year-old scored just two goals in 21 games for the Whites before sealing a move to the Turkish club in the summer, and the Ghanian forward has gone from strength to strength ever since his switch.

The forward has netted seven times and produced two assists for the Turkish Super League side this term, proving a point to Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa who sent him away on loan at the start of the season.

Things have got even better for Ekuban over the last week though - after being called up to the Ghana national team ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, the pacey attacker netted on his international debut against Kenya, unleashing an left-footed strike into the bottom corner.
