These are testing times for Birmingham City and interim manager Harry Redknapp, who really have to do the business later this week if the club are to secure their Championship status.

It's been a horrendous season for most involved down at St Andrews this campaign, with Gianfranco Zola's wretched spell at the helm finally coming to an end after a landslide of results, that saw the Blues catapult down the Championship table.

With Harry Redknapp at the helm and a much-needed win over Huddersfield Town under the players' belts, there's absolutely no reason why the club shouldn't be thinking of summer additions, despite the ongoing fight for survival.

And one man we think we'd love to see back at St Andrews this summer is £2.13million-rated Sunderland midfielder Seb Larsson, who of course, has a huge affinity with Birmingham City already.

The Swedish international spent plenty of time in the Midlands before making the move to the North East and was one of the most well-liked and top performing individuals fans had seen in years.

His quality on the right-hand side of the midfield always seemed to be a step above, with his delivery, work rate and ability to score goals all standing out in his game.

Blues have always had a thing for bringing back former flames but Larsson is a man who at 31-years-old, still has something very real to offer at this level.

It's certainly a move Redknapp or the future manager should consider.
