Derby County saw their play-off hopes dented after slipping to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cardiff City last night but many Rams fans have heaped praise on the performance of goalkeeper Kelle Roos.
The result leaves them six points adrift from the top six with three games left to play.
Derby handed their hosts the lead in the Welsh capital when Jason Knight’s wayward backpass allowed Junior Hoilett to open the scoring after 17 minutes.
Knight got his redemption 13 minutes later, however, smashing in an equaliser after a quick break from Phillip Cocu’s side.
Lee Tomlin capitalised on another Derby mistake, this time from Wayne Rooney, to grab the winner just before the hour mark.
However, the scoreline could have been more comprehensive if not for the performance of Roos in the visitors’ goal.
The Dutchman returned to the side for the clash with the Rams after Ben Hamer’s shocker against Brentford on the weekend and put in an impressive display.
The 28-year-old has been far from convincing at points this term and spent much of the 2019/20 campaign behind Hamer in the pecking order but took his chance against Cardiff.
Roos made six saves in total (Sofascore) and dealt with high balls into the box well when necessary.
Have these 9 things happened to Derby County this season? Have a go now!
His performance appears to have caught the attention of the Pride Park faithful, many of whom have taken to Twitter to heap praise on the shot-stopper.

Thought Kelle Roos had a good game tonight! No chance with the two gifted goals, made 2-3 excellent saves and was good with his ball distribution. #dcfc

Roos did well. Couldn’t do anything about the goals and made some smart saves
Clarke solid as always.
Knight scores back to back. Shame about his mistake.
Sibley is a nightmare for defenders when he gets driving.#dcfc

Kelle Roos MOTM tonight, not that there was much competition. #DCFC

Much like v Brentford, #dcfc were killed by their own mistakes. Derby dissolved totally after Rooney's howler and looked abject by the end. Overall, it goes down as a bitterly disappointing evening.
Credit to MOTM Roos, who at least kept us in it with two great saves.

On a positive Roos has a really good game and Clarke strong again. We were just so poor in the final third. Often too slow in the build up. Sibley was good when he got on the ball but just think at times we try to play through Rooney and Bird too much. Oh well #dcfc

Kelle Roos was Derby man of the match for me. Thought his shot stopping was good and his handling was faultless #dcfc

Credit where credit’s due. Roos has done brilliantly with everything so far #dcfc
